Nora Daniels' background includes over 30 years of courtroom experience and she has been a mediator for over 25 years. Additionally, Nora Daniels is an active proponent of Collaborative Law. She was an editor of the Massachusetts Collaborative Law Journal. She has contributed to the Boston Women's Journal, and she is a contributor to other periodicals and law journals. She has lectured, particularly in the areas of Family Law and Collaborative Law for various organizations including local Chambers of Commerce. She has been interviewed by the Improper Bostonian. 

Attorney Nora Daniels is a member of the Massachusetts Council on Family Mediation (MCFM), the Association for Conflict Resolution (ACR), the Massachusetts Collaborative Law Council (MCLC), the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals (IACP), the Women Lawyers Network (WLN), the Massachusetts Bar Association (MBA) and the American Bar Association (ABA). She is a volunteer with REACH (Building Healthy Communities by Ending Domestic Violence).

After graduating from Wheaton, she enrolled in Law School. During law school she continued to work with special needs and abused children and part of the “CASA” program and she was interned as a Clerk to the Rhode Island Superior Court. She graduated from New England School of Law, cum laude in 1987. After working in small practice firms and heading her own practice, she joined Portnoy and Greene, P. C. as the Litigation Partner.  After serving as Litigation Partner at Portnoy and Greene In March of  2005 she left Portnoy & Greene, P.C., Attorney Nora Daniels returned to heading her own practice, in order to have more personal and direct contact in assisting her clients, and to further expand her Mediation and Collaborative Law Practice.

Ms. Daniels attended Bishop Feehan High School, Attleboro MA. She received a Bachelor of Arts summa cum laude from Wheaton College. While at Wheaton, she actively participated in the International Club, where she was elected as treasurer for two years; She was chosen to be a member of Phi Beta Kappa and was a Dana Scholar. During college Ms. Daniels worked at Taunton State Hospital assisting the chief psychiatrist, volunteered in several programs assisting special needs children and she became a Court Appointed Special Advocate “CASA” under the Rhode Island Judiciary.
